I grew up in California where I went to school at San Francisco Art Institute and received my BFA in painting.  I now live in the Pacific Northwest with my husband and our two children. Nature surrounds me and is contained in the narrative of my work. I am always working on new ways to portray the connection we have with the earth and each other, and create a dialogue for the future we are leaving our children. The studio is a home always full of children, family, friends and animals -- the most important things in life.
